Questions
How long does eBay hold my money?
It depends on who you are and how you ship. eBay's examples run from 24 hours after delivery confirmation to 31 days after the buyer pays. Read 2026-10-16.
Why is my payout Blocked?
eBay says a Blocked payout can be a payout hold, for example for a registration mismatch, compliance reasons, unusual activity, an invalid payment method for fees or a Form W-9 that cannot be validated.
What if a buyer opens a dispute?
eBay says a payment dispute hold may be applied to your funds until the dispute or case is resolved.
What after a suspension?
eBay says transaction holds apply for 30 days after a restriction or suspension is lifted.
